The 2006 Battle for Columbia was a fine educational living-history event for the entire family.Visitors
experienced a piece of our great American history. They went back in time with Union and Confederate
soldiers.They felt and saw the thunder of mighty field artillery and cavalry hoves, the rattle of musketry
and wandered through the encampments of both the Federal and Confederate armies.There was also
Southern Bar-B-Q and period foods, beverages and clothing, souvenirs and lots of fun for everyone!
