The upcoming Lee-Jackson Banquet will be held on Friday, January 20th from 6:30 to 9:00 at Seawell’s Banquet Center. This year’s annual celebration will be presented for the second time by the newly established Central South Carolina SCV Council. All member Camps will contribute to the planning, organization and presentation of what is hoped to be the biggest Lee-Jackson Banquet ever held in South Carolina. Compatriots are reminded that this will be a real dress up occasion. Coat & tie, period dress is preferred, but Red Shirts are acceptable.

The presale of reservations for event tickets will begin at the November member Camp meetings and continue through early January. Tickets must be purchased in advance so to allow for adequate space and meal preparations of this type of large affair. We anticipate between 500 and 800 attendees. Heavy emphasis is being placed on creating a purely social and entertaining affair. There will be no Camp business conducted!

The Guest Speaker will be Dr. Terry Rude, past SC Division Chaplain and his topic will be on Generals Lee and Jackson. Ridge Hill will provide some exceptional bluegrass music. There are hopes to have a silent auction on going during the evening as well as multiple Camp raffle drawings.

Youth (12 to 17) $15

Everyone is highly encouraged to get their tickets now and to feel free to invite all their friends, family and work associates. This will be an incredible opportunity to recruit new members for all Camps.
